2011 Remodelers Showcase Home
By constructing an addition and implementing a new space, Fey Construction transformed this 1980's cramped suburban kitchen and dinette into the perfect space for cooking and entertaining. Numerous Marvin windows flood the addition with natural light. The expansive granite countertops provide ample room for food prep and casual dining. The new butler's pantry and the command center, with pocket doors that can be closed while entertaining, were created from a portion of the old kitchen. A new custom fireplace mantel with adjoining bookcases in the adjacent family room are an extension of the design concept – the same white enameled cabinetry, Shadow Green polished granite, and red oak flooring throughout the project establish design continuity.
