Lowry Hill Kitchen Remodeling
As part of a whole house remodel, the owners of this Lowry Hill home wanted to update their kitchen and create an efficient, open floor plan. Due to space constraints, the solution was to redefine the use of existing spaces. The playroom was converted into the new kitchen and the dining room into a family room. Removal of the built-in buffet opens the new kitchen into the family room. Hot water in-floor heat keeps the new kitchen warm, as there was little space for conventional radiators. Design features such as undercabinet lighting, rollout shelves, built-in refrigerator and flip-up flat screen TV make cooking in this kitchen a delight. The broad granite island lends itself to food preparation, dining or homework.
