South Minneapolis Bathroom Remodeling
Part of the lower level of this south Minneapolis home was “unfinished” and used for storage and laundry. The owners were eager to remodel some of this space to create a bathroom with a steam shower for relaxing. The challenge was to create a functional room with esthetically pleasing design while working around the existing small windows, structural elements and boiler pipes.
New walls and ceilings were framed to create a 104 sq. ft. bathroom. Although the bathroom is small, its space plan includes a 15 sq. ft. shower with steam unit. The large mirror over the 16” deep built-in clear maple cabinetry maximizes the design appeal of this small space.
