Lake Minnetonka Kitchen Remodeling
The existing kitchen of this Minnetonka home was gutted and reconfigured to improve the work areas for the cook and improve the traffic flow. The custom cherry cabinetry, ‘Tropical Green’ granite countertops and mosaic backsplash give the kitchen a traditional feel that flows with the rest of the home. The L-shaped counter creates a workspace protected from the traffic flow around the newly remodeled kitchen.

An addition was constructed on the back of the home to create a new breakfast room, complete with a built-in buffet, desk, bookcases and a bench/storage area. The broad granite island helps to bridge the kitchen, family room and adjacent breakfast room. Wide arched entries were constructed to separate yet connect the kitchen, breakfast room and family room.
